1978 Honda XL-125

The XL-125 is a single cylinder, overhead cam, four stroke, single cylinder, enduro motorcycle. It was released in the early 1970's and was produced into the late 1980's. It evolved from the earlier SL -125 series of motorcycles, which weren't known for their power. This one was rebuilt by Morgan Mclean over the winter of 2011/ 2012. Morgan decided to move and I bought the bike. While i'm not a huge fan of Honda dirt bikes, this one was really nicely done, and the thought of it being thrashed to death by some punk was sickening. While it could use a new tank and side covers, the rest of the bike is really clean, as can be seen in the below picture. I traded this bike to my friend Rick, for his 74 kawasaki g4. It has now been sold and Rick is looking for a Hodaka 125 or 175.
